VIDEO

Part narrative, part sculpture in motion, these videos document the exploration of the human form and its relationship to the context it is enveloped in-be it physical, social, or imaginary.

The Adventures of Dimitri Kalishnikov
Satirical opening scene to a fictitious mini-series.

‘Tar “J”’ 2min00
From the ‘Lost and Found Series’. Video narrative created using found, lost, or free footage.

Whitehead 2min30
‘Whitehead’ explores the video-making process. It combines the themes of sleeping, eating, anxiety, traffic, and landscape into one two-and-a-half minute video.

The Sculptist 2min30
‘The Sculptist’ explores the experience of the artist in the creative process.

Vi DEO PAiNT ING 2min00
‘Vi DEO PAiNT ING’ : part performance, part abstract painting, ‘Video Painting’ looks at the canvas as both the object on which images are created and as the creation itself. The 2D often appears as a portal through which to see things rather than being an actual object-but here it is both portal and object. The videotape outlasts the object (both as a painting and as an object), and becomes the actual piece of art.

Valentino 2min30
Valentino’ handiwork, a brief study of the “Valentine’s Day” holiday using plastic alligator clips.
