SCULPTURE

This ongoing series is based on the Unit, let us call it X. X serves one purpose on its own, but its function and appearance can change dramatically when it is added to, or multiplied by, itself. The repetition of X results in a new object: Y. Though Y is made up of X units, it loses its original function and becomes a new entity, perhaps even an object of beauty. In a world obsessed with ‘mass production’, the focus of this series is to use what is readily available rather than to use additional resources to create a new object. Edmond-
These sculpture are really awesome and resourceful. Sorry I will be missing out on the show. You should submit some of your work to Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island city or apply for a studio as part of the LMCC. I think you would be a very strong candidate for these programs.
Anyways goodluck!

All the best
Julia
